2034 Utah Olympic and Paralympic logo revealed

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Counting down from 3,000 days until the Opening Ceremony of the Games, the Utah 2034 Olympic Committee revealed its new logo today.

“The 2034 Olympics and Paralympics are going to unify the world,” Utah Governor Spencer Cox told a group of gathered guests on Monday at the Salt Lake City International Airport.

Some had speculated that, since the Italian 2026 Olympics and Paralympics took the nomenclature of Milan-Cortina, being the first ever to include both the host city, Milan, and the mountain town, Cortina, they might follow suit and officially call these Games the Salt Lake City-Park City Games.

Instead, they announced today that the five counties hosting the venues in 2034 represent the pride felt across Utah as a whole, so the wording of ‘Utah’ is what they’ve decided to keep.

Broadcast live on television and social media, past, present, and future Olympians and Paralympians were in attendance as the leadership of the 2034 Games made this much-anticipated announcement.

Fraser Bullock thanked the USOPC and LA 2028 for allowing this early news, as 2034 doesn’t hold the rights to this logo until 2029, as is historically the case. However, merchandise branded with today’s revealed logo is for sale at the Utah Olympic Park Gift Shop as of today.
