PARK CITY, Utah — U.S. Ski & Snowboard has announced the selection of 49 athletes for the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for the 2025–26 season, marking the official start of an Olympic year for the nation’s top alpine competitors.
The roster features some of the sport’s most accomplished athletes, including two-time Olympic champion and eight-time world champion Mikaela Shiffrin, as well as three-time Olympic medalist Lindsey Vonn. Returning members include 2022 Olympic super-G silver medalist Ryan Cochran-Siegle, two-time world champion Breezy Johnson, and World Championship bronze medalists Lauren Macuga and Paula Moltzan.
Anouk Patty, Chief of Sport for U.S. Ski & Snowboard, stated, “This is a determined group of athletes, fully prepared to compete at the highest level as we head into an Olympic season. Their commitment—both in summer training at the USANA Center of Excellence powered by iFIT and on the snow—has set the stage for what promises to be an exciting season.”
The 2025–26 Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup calendar includes 20 women’s events and 19 men’s events, leading up to the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Italy, which will take place from February 6 to 22. Women will compete in Cortina, while men will race in Bormio.
The World Cup season kicks off with traditional giant slalom races on October 25–26 in Sölden, Austria, followed by slalom competitions in Levi, Finland. U.S. fans will have the chance to watch the team compete on home snow in Colorado later this fall. The inaugural Stifel Copper Cup presented by United Airlines will be held at Copper Mountain from November 27 to 30, featuring both men’s and women’s races, followed by the men’s Stifel Birds of Prey at Beaver Creek from December 4 to 7.
Among those named to the A Team are Shiffrin, Vonn, Johnson, Macuga, Moltzan, and Nina O’Brien for the women, alongside Cochran-Siegle, Bryce Bennett, Tommy Ford, Jared Goldberg, River Radamus, and Ben Ritchie for the men.
