PARK CITY, Utah — Main Street in Historic Park City is set to become a winter wonderland this holiday season, as seven talented Utah-based visual artists have been chosen to create life-size Snow Globe installations for the Historic Park City Alliance’s annual Snow Globe Art Stroll.
The immersive art experience, launching Nov. 26, will feature original interpretations of this year’s “Winter Wonderland” theme, with each artist bringing their unique creative vision to these larger-than-life installations.
“Congratulations to this year’s featured artists whose creative visions will bring our Snow Globe Art Stroll to life this holiday season,” said Ginger Wicks, Executive Director of the Historic Park City Alliance. “We look forward to welcoming the community to take in every magical, larger-than-life detail intricately laced into each and every Snow Globe.”
After reviewing design concepts submitted earlier this month, the Arts Council and HPCA selected the following seven artists to participate:
- Angie Smith
- Anna Leigh Moore
- Elle Donovan
- Goksu Cinar
- Libby Perterkort
- Paige Novak
- Rebecca Pletsch
Each artist will create their own distinctive Snow Globe installation, challenging them to capture the spirit of the season through their individual artistic lens.
The Snow Globe Art Stroll offers more than just visual appeal. Each of the seven installations will include interactive elements designed to engage visitors:
- A hidden silver snowflake tucked inside each Snow Globe for guests to discover
- QR code displays providing access to artist information and backgrounds
- A complete map showing all Snow Globe locations throughout Historic Park City
These features encourage visitors to explore the entire collection while learning about the creative minds behind each piece.
The Snow Globe Art Stroll will be on display throughout the holiday season, from Nov. 26, through Jan. 5, giving both locals and visitors plenty of time to experience this festive art installation on Park City’s Main Street.
The free, outdoor exhibition transforms the historic mountain town into an enchanting winter destination, combining art, community, and holiday spirit in a uniquely Park City celebration.
