PARK CITY, Utah — Social media platforms are no longer just for scrolling through content — they’re becoming storefronts where sales happen in real time.
The Park City Marketing Club will host Jon Jessup, CEO and founder of 1440, on Monday, Oct. 27, at Kiln in Park City to discuss how Instagram and TikTok are reshaping the way brands connect with customers and close sales.
The presentation, running from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., will examine how direct messaging features on social platforms are creating new pathways between discovery and purchase. Jessup plans to demonstrate how brands can turn casual social media conversations into tracked, measurable sales opportunities.
Central to the discussion will be the integration of social messaging with customer relationship management systems, allowing companies to follow a customer’s journey from initial contact through purchase. Jessup will also address how AI-powered tools are enabling brands to respond to inquiries instantly — a capability he considers essential for reaching Gen Z and mobile-first shoppers who expect immediate interaction.
With more than 20 years in software and e-commerce, Jessup leads 1440, a Salesforce partner platform that unifies customer interactions across Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and other messaging channels.
The event is free with registration. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
