Grand Hyatt Deer Valley cozies up with s’mores, spa sessions, Thanksgiving feast, and more

PARK CITY, Utah — As autumn transitions into winter, Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is giving locals and regional visitors a reason to cozy up with a lineup of seasonal happenings that position the hotel as a gathering place for both the community and travelers.
The resort has curated family-friendly activities, rejuvenating wellness experiences, and more, from outdoor family fun to relaxation-focused spa treatments, as temperatures begin to drop across the Wasatch Mountains.
S’mores Social Hour takes place on Hailstone Terrace from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, where guests can gather around the fire to roast marshmallows and build customized s’mores. The expanded spread features playful chocolates, flavored marshmallows, and various toppings for creating personalized treats while enjoying the mountain air.
The resort’s monthly Mini Pumpkin Craft sessions offer hands-on projects for all ages, with supplies provided. September features cookie decorating, October showcases mini pumpkin decorating, November highlights turkey handprints, and December through March offers mini ski decorating workshops. Guests are encouraged to drop in and bring their imagination to these festive activities.

Movies on the Lawn continues throughout October with family-friendly and Halloween-themed films screened under the stars on Wednesday and Friday evenings. The October lineup includes Hotel Transylvania, Goosebumps, Monster House, The Addams Family, Casper, ParaNorman, Frankenweenie, Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Select screenings are part of Camp Hyatt programming. The series runs through Oct. 31, offering families an outdoor entertainment option during crisp autumn evenings.
Agaci Spa + Wellness hosts Chakra Balancing Sound Meditation sessions on Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. The immersive experience uses therapeutic instruments to align and energize the body’s seven chakras. Guided by a sound healer, participants journey through frequencies designed to restore balance, clear energetic blockages and promote centeredness.
Looking ahead to the holiday season, Remington Hall will host a Thanksgiving Day feast on Nov. 28. The menu features a carving station, crudo bar, brown sugar sweet potato casserole and traditional seasonal dishes. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant anticipates strong interest from both guests and local diners.
