SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Delta Air Lines has unveiled its newest Delta Sky Club at Salt Lake City International Airport. The 34,000-square-foot lounge is now the second largest in Delta’s network.
Located in the newly expanded Concourse B, the two-story lounge can accommodate up to 600 travelers and was designed to reflect Utah’s iconic natural landscapes.
“Salt Lake City continues to be a key hub in our network, and opening our second Delta Sky Club at the airport reflects our deepening commitment to the market,” said Claude Roussel, vice president of Delta Sky Club and lounge experience. “This space was designed with direct input from our customers . . . Every detail was crafted to deliver an elevated experience that makes the lounge feel like a home away from home.”
The lounge features panoramic views of the airfield, a wrap-around premium bar, and an expansive buffet with freshly prepared food. Travelers will also find nine soundproof phone booths and, of course, a “Dirty Soda” bar.
The club’s interior draws inspiration from Utah’s mountains, lakes, and caverns, with terrazzo mosaic flooring, wood finishes, and copper accents. Local art and a new “Digital Immersion Wall” will surround guests with visuals and sounds of Utah landscapes, which Delta officials say will make for a calming sensory experience.
The new Sky Club is part of “The New SLC” redevelopment project, which recently added 10 gates and expanded Concourse B to improve passenger flow and efficiency. Delta currently operates up to 255 peak-day departures from Salt Lake City to nearly 100 destinations worldwide.
This year, Delta Airlines launched its first nonstop service from Salt Lake City to Seoul, South Korea, and plans to begin daily flights to Lima, Peru, later in 2025.
More than 4,800 Delta employees live in Utah, where the airline maintains close partnerships with local organizations including the Utah Food Bank, YMCA of Northern Utah, and the American Red Cross. Delta is also the naming partner of the Delta Center and the official airline of the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth.
