MIDWAY, Utah — Crowds filled the streets of Midway on August 29–30 for the annual Swiss Days celebration, a two-day festival that has become one of the Heber Valley’s signature traditions.

The event, hosted by the Midway Boosters, brought together local and national vendors for an outdoor craft fair, with volunteers working behind the scenes to ensure a seamless weekend.

More than 160 vendors offered a diverse range of handcrafted goods, from home décor to toys and local art, many of which were juried for quality.

Food booths served Swiss-German staples—scones, ham & Swiss, Swiss tacos, cheesy sandwiches, Bratzeli, and Zopf—along with local favorites and unique treats.

Saturday morning featured the traditional parade at 10 a.m., while families found entertainment in the dedicated children’s area, which included a bounce house and climbing wall. Live music and cultural performances were featured throughout both days, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Parking shuttles and shaded rest areas helped manage the crowds, as Swiss Days once again showcased the blend of heritage, community, and small-town charm that has defined the festival for decades.
