SNAPPED: Concert on the Slopes finale features bull riding competition and surprise guest

Concert on the Slopes finished the season with a bang. The mechanical bull riding contest was very popular. Cowboys and cowgirls of all ages tried their skills. When I heard a guy stayed in the saddle for 64 seconds, I thought he had the win. In the end youth and determination won out.

The winner of the country weekend bull riding challenge was Savannah, a young lady in her early teens with incredible staying power! She won two season passes to Concerts on the Slopes in 2026. She will receive two tickets to all of their summer shows.

The three-day country concert series was so popular that Park City Performing Arts has already announced that they will have another three-day country series next summer.

After the second to last concert of the season sold out, the final concert presented another surprise. A last-minute addition to the concert turned out to be comedian Bill Engvall. He told some of his “Here’s Your Sign” jokes from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour and added some new jokes to keep the crowd laughing. How do you top the surprise performances for the 2025 summer season? Only the masterminds at Park City Performing Arts know.

In the meantime, tickets for the Winter Series at the George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Center for the Performing Arts at Park City High School are available. Tickets start at $5 for Summit County students, veterans and active military.
