PARK CITY, Utah — The Utah Department of Transportation reported a crash on Friday on state Route 224 near mile marker 9 in Summit County. The northbound right lane and right shoulder are currently blocked. Drivers should expect delays in the area and use caution while crews respond.
“There’s an unusual amount of traffic this morning,” one Utah Highway Patrol deputy said. “Everyone woke up and decided to drive this morning.”
Although the crash is on the northbound side of SR224, the southbound lanes have been backed up, sometimes beyond Bear Hollow.
If you’re traveling southbound towards Park City this morning, consider taking an alternate route.
