LOCOCO debuts Lux Vanilla cocoa in collaboration with Montage Deer Valley chef

PARK CITY, Utah — LOCOCO, the award-winning premium cocoa brand, has launched its newest flavor, Lux Vanilla, crafted with Executive Pastry Chef Romie Fisher of Montage Deer Valley. The product debuted Aug. 13, combining refined flavor, nourishing ingredients and a nod to Utah heritage.
“We wanted to offer something for the cocoa lovers that are used to that softer sweetness enjoyed when biting into a fresh chocolate chip cookie,” said founder Anna Bloom. “It’s going back to hot chocolate roots with a twist — low in sugar, dairy free and with the power of balancing adaptogens from functional mushrooms.”

Lux Vanilla blends real vanilla, salt from central Utah and functional mushrooms for what LOCOCO describes as “body and mind balance.” Fisher, who holds a degree in nutrition and has more than a decade of experience as a chocolatier, worked with Bloom to reimagine the traditional cocoa profile.
“Collaborating on Lux Vanilla was an inspiring journey,” Fisher said. “We reimagined a classic cocoa by balancing indulgence with health-forward ingredients, elevating every sip with a touch of real salt and adaptogens.”
LOCOCO’s Original Spice formula was named a top cocoa by Food & Wine in a taste test. Bloom said partnering with Fisher helped ensure the company met the high standard set by its debut product.
“We struck gold with our first formula which was exciting and also meant we had a lot to live up to with our second flavor,” Bloom said. “I’ve been working with Romie over the last few years on this and I believe we’ve come close or even bested our first attempt.”
Lux Vanilla is dairy free, low sugar and gluten free, and is sold in boxes of five single-serve sachets (19 grams each) for a suggested retail price of $21.50. It is available at lococomagic.com and select retailers.
Founded in the mountains of Utah, LOCOCO specializes in cocoa blends made with organic cacao powders and spices, low-glycemic sugars and functional mushrooms. The products are designed to be prepared with hot water, milk, or added to coffee.
