The organization will receive $90,000 to provide consistent, affordable immigration legal services to women and children in Park City and the Wasatch Back. The funds will support a full-time staff attorney and help expand its team of volunteer attorneys to meet growing demand.
Two other finalists, Peace House and SOS Outreach, each received $30,000. In total, $150,000 was awarded this year—an increase from the $125,000 granted in 2024.
“There is something really powerful about women+ coming together to support our local nonprofits that provide critical work in our community,” said Rebecca Blanchette, member services manager at Park City Community Foundation. “We are able to increase our grants each year because of our 2,300 members that choose to invest and re-invest in women and children in our area.”
An initiative of Park City Community Foundation, the Women’s Giving Fund benefits the lives of women+ and children in Summit County. The group comprises more than 2,300 local women, girls, non-binary, and gender-fluid individuals. Members join for life with a $1,000 contribution to the fund, which is endowed and provides annual grants to local nonprofits. Since 2015, the group has collectively granted $658,000.
This year, the fund received 25 applications—the most in its history. The Steering Committee reviews applications and selects three finalists annually.
“Each year, we see more applications, which is both exciting and highlights the ongoing need in our community,” said Anna Frachou, chair of the Women’s Giving Fund Steering Committee.
The 2025 Women’s Giving Fund Grant Celebration was held at Legacy Lodge, with support from Park City Mountain Resort through Vail Resorts EpicPromise and CVMA.
Previous grantees include The People’s Health Clinic, PC Tots, The Hope Alliance, Jewish Family Service, Peace House, and Holy Cross Ministries.
