PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Showdown Lacrosse Tournament took place Friday through Sunday welcoming families from around the Western US. The annual event rounds out the other venues of Bend, Oregon and Vail, Colorado.
The girls teams of the high school-aged club players and their younger counterparts played their games split between the Trailside East turf fields and the Ecker Hill Middle School site. The boys played at two field locations in Heber City.

Players parents and siblings cheering from the sideline who had traveled from San Diego told TownLift, “These teenage athletes and us, the parents, all very much look forward to this tournament each summer. We rode the Mountain Coaster and the Alpine Slide at Park City Mountain yesterday and activities like that make it really fun for everyone.”
Many of the visitors also spent time over the entire weekend at the Utah Olympic Park as each team was guaranteed at least four games over the course of the event.
Adrenaline Lacrosse, a national college prep league’s vision is to capture the distinct aspects of each city they visit and provide a regional experience for the thousands of people in attendance. In order to accomplish this, Adrenaline curates the best food, shopping, and entertainment options in each location and showcases them in the Adrenaline Vendor Village.
Slightly different than a ‘sanctioned’ event, this was a USA Lacrosse ‘aligned’ event.
