William Beckmann to headline Bluebird Bands Concert at Sundance Mountain Resort

SUNDANCE, Utah Texas-born singer-songwriter William Beckmann will headline this summer’s Bluebird Bands concert at Sundance Mountain Resort on Thursday, Aug. 28, bringing his bilingual vocals and genre-blending country style to the iconic mountain stage.

Now in its second year, Bluebird Bands is an electrified evolution of Sundance’s long-running collaboration with Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe. For more than two decades, the resort has hosted an annual in-the-round acoustic concert series in partnership with the legendary venue. Bluebird Bands expands that offering, delivering a plugged-in, full-band experience that showcases emerging and established Nashville talent under the open sky.

Beckmann, 28, is known for his rich vocals and storytelling sensibility, shaped by the border-town rhythms of his Del Rio, Texas upbringing. Singing in both English and Spanish, Beckmann draws from classic country and Norteño influences, adding a modern spin. His 2022 album Faded Memories featured the fan-favorite single “Bourbon Whiskey” and a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m On Fire.” In 2023, his track “Tennessee Drinkin’” became his fifth consecutive Top 20 hit on the Texas Regional Radio Chart. He has toured with Parker McCollum, Hank Williams Jr., Charley Crockett, and the Randy Rogers Band, and made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2023 before signing with Warner Music Nashville a year later.
