SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — With music, art, and dancing filling Canyons Village, the 2025 Latino Arts Festival brought more than 11,000 people together in a colorful celebration of heritage and community — a 1,000-person increase from the previous year.
“The Arts Council of Park City and Summit County is grateful to all those who attended the 2025 Latino Arts Festival,” said Andrea Zavala, Latino Arts Festival Manager. “This was a positive and successful event because of the incredible collaboration with our artists, performers, event partners, and attendees. This event once again provided beautiful ways in which we could all connect through arts and culture.”
One of the biggest highlights this year was the introduction of El Mercadito, a new addition that was packed throughout the weekend. With over 20 vendors, the space was continuously buzzing with festival goers taking part in hands-on workshops that included sugar skull decoration, flash tattoos, and more. El Mercadito also hosted an array of handcrafted goods from clothing to soaps and jewelry, and showcased a colorful papel picado installation that was created with the help of 270 local students. The installation was part of the Arts Council’s Latino Arts Youth program, led by visual artist Allison Martinez-Arrocho.
This three-day event was organized by the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County.
