“Mormon Wives” TV star busted for fake snowboarding at Deer Valley
Deer Valley Resort has never allowed snowboarders on its terrain, but apparently that was a secret to "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" producers. Photo: Deer Valley Resort
PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley Resort famously does not allow snowboarders to shred its pow, but apparently the producers of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” aren’t in on that fact.
Deer Valley’s social media team had some fun with a clip from the show on its Instagram. It shows a cast member allegedly walking in from the slopes holding a snowboard (there is no snow or even water in sight), talking to another dressed in a mini skirt and short-sleeved top.

Commenters on the post theorize that the clip was filmed outside of the ski season as context for the episode’s later drama.
Regardless, kudos to the social media manager who had fun with the clip. Commenter b_tyce said, “Power move by the Deer Valley social media team” and mgn.lynch said, “This seems too sassy for DV to post 😂” —and everyone is here for it.
