Police log: E-bike complaint, public intoxication arrest

Monday, May 26

Incident: E-bike Complaint
Four juveniles on e-bikes were reported running stop signs and doing laps in the roadway near Calamity Lane and Piper Way. The caller stated they were chasing each other with water guns and one individual was almost hit by a passing vehicle. 

Tuesday, May 27

Incident: Domestic Violence
Deputies responded to a residence on Ponderosa Dr. regarding a report of a family fight between a father and son. When the deputies arrived, both parties were separated. Further investigation determined that the son had assaulted the father, and the son was booked into Summit County Jail.

Incident: Public Intoxication
Deputies responded to the Best Western in Coalville on an intoxicated disorderly female. The woman was not cooperative with deputies and resisted arrest. She was eventually arrested and booked into the Summit County Jail for intoxication and interference with an arresting officer. 

Wednesday, May 28

Incident: Rogue Turkey
The Park City Police received multiple calls and reports of a turkey wandering the streets of Park City. Read more about the story here. 

Thursday, May 29 

Incident: Drugs + Arrest
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Upon making contact with the occupants of the vehicle, drug paraphernalia was observed in plain view and a statewide records check revealed an active warrant for the driver. The driver was arrested for the warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia. The subject was transported to the Summit County Jail without incident.

Sunday, June 1

Incident: Driver Complaint
Police received a complaint about a Porsche driver who was reportedly “drag racing” on Deer Valley Drive, driving between 90 and 100 mph.
