PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Community Foundation announced the three finalists for the 2025 Women’s Giving Fund grant on Monday: Peace House, SOS Outreach, and Wasatch Immigration Project. The Fund will award a total of $150,000 in grants at the annual Women’s Giving Fund Grant Celebration on July 15.
One nonprofit will receive a high-impact grant of $90,000, while the other two will each receive $30,000. Women’s Giving Fund members are invited to vote for the high-impact grantee now through July 13 at parkcitycf.org/votewgf.
“This year’s grant reiterates the power of collective giving; $150,000 is an unprecedented amount for us to grant,” said Anna Frachou, Chair of the Women’s Giving Fund Steering Committee. “When we started this fund 11 years ago, we were granting $30,000. Together, we have made it possible to deeply support organizations that are creating real, lasting change for women+ and children in our community.”
The 2025 finalists submitted proposals outlining how they would use the funding:
-
Peace House aims to equip all K–12 students in Summit County with age-appropriate violence prevention education. The organization would retain a full-time Prevention Specialist to deliver body and relationship safety curriculum in local schools.
-
SOS Outreach plans to support more than 500 Summit County youth with year-round programming focused on belonging, resilience, and leadership. The programming would include outdoor recreation, mentoring, and social-emotional learning, all coordinated by a full-time staff member.
-
Wasatch Immigration Project will provide consistent and affordable immigration legal services to women and children in Park City and the Wasatch Back. The funding would help sustain a full-time staff attorney and expand the volunteer attorney team to meet growing demand.
The Women’s Giving Fund, an initiative of Park City Community Foundation, was created to improve the lives of women+ and children in Park City and Summit County. Since 2014, the fund has granted $508,000 to local nonprofits. This year’s grants will bring the total to $658,000. The fund now includes more than 2,300 members, made up of women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals.
Members will have the opportunity to meet the finalists and ask questions during a coffee event on Wednesday, June 25, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Lucky Ones Coffee at the Park City Library.
The 2025 Grant Celebration will take place July 15 at the Legacy Lodge at Park City Mountain. Park City Community Foundation thanked Park City Mountain, supported through Vail Resorts EpicPromise, and the Canyons Village Management Association (CVMA) for sponsoring this year’s event.
Membership in the Women’s Giving Fund remains open, and new members may still join and vote. More information is available at parkcitycf.org/womensgivingfund.
