New Heber City Bandshell Stage set to debut with summer tunes

After breaking ground nearly a year ago, the Heber City Bandshell Stage is ready for its grand debut. Located in the Heber City Park at 200 South Main Street, the stage will be utilized throughout the summer in a free weekly concert series in conjunction with the Heber Market on Main.

This new, larger bandshell is situated at the heart of the park and provides the ideal space for concerts and other performances, according to the Heber City Parks, Trails, and Open Space Master Plan. The space surrounding the bandshell is designed to accommodate food trucks and outdoor dining, open plazas with programmed activities, a playground, and a splash pad.

The Heber Market on Main Concert Series will kick off on June 5 with a performance by the Will Baxter Band. The series will continue every Thursday from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. until August 21.

An official ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for the bandshell will be held on June 19 at 6 p.m. Check out the Heber Market on Main Events page for the full summer line-up.

The new bandshell is just one part of the Envision Heber 2050 General Plan, which has a focus on turning Main Street Park into a newly renovated, “state-of-the-art” facility focused on city gatherings and accommodating flexible use.
