Kick off Independence Day celebrations with the 4th of July Fun Run
PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Ski & Snowboard will be kicking off Independence Day celebrations with the annual 4th of July Fun Run. The race has been held in Park City since the early 1980s and is a beloved tradition for the community. All ages and abilities are invited to participate, from competitive runners to parents with strollers.
Each registrant will receive a custom-designed commemorative t-shirt and Kodiak pancakes will be served afterward in the Cole Sport parking lot. This year, Arc’teryx is sponsoring prizes, and the top finishers will receive gift cards for their foot wear. There will also be raffle prizes throughout the event.
This year the race will be capped at 1000 runners, and race organizers are encouraging those wanting to run to register soon before spots fill up. Race registration is $30 for kids (11 and under) and $50 for adults (12 and over). Proceeds will benefit Park City Ski & Snowboard and support the students participating in their programs. Race registration will close on July 3rd at 5:00 p.m. and there is no day-of registration. Register today.
