HEBER CITY, Utah — Heber Valley’s annual Fourth of July celebration is set to return with expanded festivities this year, including a new parade and an evening concert headlined by country music star Joe Nichols. The third annual Red, White, and Blue Festival will take place Friday, July 4, offering a full day of patriotic programming, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities.
Organized by the Heber Valley Chamber, Tourism, and Economic Development office and presented by Gordon Law Group, the event aims to foster community spirit and honor Independence Day with a mix of tradition and new attractions. This year marks the debut of the Red, White, and Blue Parade, which will feature local floats, marching bands, and community groups making their way down Heber City Main Street from 9 to 10 a.m.
“The Red, White, and Blue Festival embodies the essence of community unity and national pride,” said Dallin Koecher, executive director of the Heber Valley Chamber. “We are honored to extend a warm invitation for all to join us in commemorating our nation’s independence in the heart of Heber Valley.”
The day begins early with hot air balloon rides and a 10K and 5K Main-to-Main race sponsored by Intermountain Health Heber Valley Hospital. A patriotic flyover and flag ceremony follow, along with a chuckwagon breakfast served by the Heber Valley Rotary Club.
Festival goers can spend the afternoon enjoying chalk art contests, kid’s games, a cornhole tournament, artisan booths, and live music at Heber City’s Main Street Park. Additional attractions include Freedom Train rides on the Heber Valley Railroad and a free community lunch.
The evening will culminate in a high-energy concert by Joe Nichols, whose chart-topping hits include “Sunny and 75” and “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off.” His performance will follow a tribute to local veterans and lead into a fireworks finale over Heber Valley.
