Celebrate annual Olympic/Paralympic Day on June 21 at the UOP

PARK CITY, Utah —Celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic spirit and the unity of sport on Saturday, June 21 at the Utah Olympic Park.

  • 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Guests will be given an event passport upon entry to encourage participation in all the available free activities. If they fill out their entire passport, they’ll receive free entry into the Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Pool Show.

Free activities to encourage movement will include:

  • A Bobsled Push Track experience
  • Laser biathlon
  • A workout session with an Olympian
  • National Abilities Center adaptive biking
  • The “Let’s Move” Station
  • Action Tower activities 

There will also be a DJ and photo booth.

The Alf Engen Ski Museum will have an Olympic and Paralympic Day memorabilia exhibit.

An Olympic and Paralympic athlete meet and greet and autograph signing is available from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. before the culmination of the evening in the exciting Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Show at 6:30 pm.

The Flying Ace All-Stars show features Team USA Olympians and National Team skiers and snowboarders performing aerial acrobatic feats as they soar up to 60 feet in the air before splashing into the Park’s Spence Eccles Olympic Freestyle Pool.

Since 1884, Olympic and Paralympic Day is celebrated worldwide, each year on or the third Saturday in June, honoring the birth of the modern Olympic Games. It’s a global celebration of sport, inclusion, and unity that encourages people of all abilities to get active, learn about Olympic values, and celebrate the achievements and accolades athletes. The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee hasworks closely worked with the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee to join the two movements and recognize the day as Olympic and Paralympic Day.

The Utah Olympic Park is an Official Training Site. The two USOPC Training Center Campuses are located in Lake Placid, NY and Colorado Springs, CO, however besides Park City, the other USOPC Training Sites are located at:

  3. California
  4. Colorado
  5. Illinios
  6. Indiana 
  7. Oklahoma
  8. Oklahoma (fun fact: two sports in the Las Angeles 2028 Olympic/Paralympic Games will be held at these venues in Oklahoma: White Water Canoe Slalom, and Softball)
