Alpine Distilling partners with James Beard Foundation for benefit dinner

ASPEN, Colo. Alpine Distilling participated in an extraordinary evening benefitting both the James Beard Foundation (JBF) and the Aspen Art Museum (AAM), joining forces with some of the culinary world’s most celebrated talents to launch Aspen’s iconic Food & Wine Classic weekend.

The exclusive benefit dinner, held at the Aspen Art Museum, was presented by James Beard Foundation CEO Clare Reichenbach, Aspen Art Museum Nancy and Bob Magoon Director Nicola Lees, and JBF and AAM Trustee Allison Rose.

Guests gathered from across the country to share in a four-course dining experience designed to support future generations of chefs, distillers, and artists. The dinner was prepared by the team from James Beard Award-winning Frasca Food & Wine, with wine pairings by James Beard Award winner Bobby Stuckey. Alpine Distilling’s Master Botanical Distiller Sara Sergent provided inspired cocktail and dessert pairings to complement the evening.

Featured Alpine Distilling pairings included:

  • Alpine Sunset: Alpine Elevated Gin with Alpine Preserve Liqueur, Alpine AngeVert Herbal Liqueur, alkaline ice, and sugared flowers
  • Alpine Old-Fashioned: Alpine Distilling Triple Oak Whiskey, 6-month barrel-aged maple syrup infused with dehydrated blackberry and orange, and fresh mint
  • Triple Oak Whiskey: Served neat or on the rock
  • Dessert pairing: Alpine AngeVert Herbal Liqueur chilled with an orange sugar-dusted rim
