PARK CITY, Utah — Volunteers, music lovers, and environmental advocates are invited to roll up their sleeves and celebrate community stewardship at the fourth annual Trails, Trash and Tunes event on Saturday, May 31, from 12-4 p.m.
Hosted by the Summit County Stormwater Coalition, the event blends environmental action with entertainment. It encourages locals to participate in a day of litter pickup, invasive weed removal, and educational outreach—all set to the backdrop of live music and family-friendly activities.
The event will occur at Silver Creek Park (Loomis Park) near the Home Depot.
In addition to trash cleanup and weed pulling, attendees can enjoy a full lineup of activities, including:
- Live music performances
- A kids’ corner hosted by the Summit County Library
- Food trucks and a beer garden
- Sustainability and recycling promotion
- Educational booths from local organizations
- Prize giveaways sponsored by local businesses
No registration is required, though organizers encourage attendees to RSVP online to help estimate turnout. Event details and optional registration can be found at summitcounty.info/4hWNQ5Q.
Guests are advised to bring water, sun protection such as hats or umbrellas, and are welcome to bring picnic blankets or camp chairs. Limited seating will be available onsite. Carpooling and biking or e-biking to the event are strongly encouraged.
Trails, Trash and Tunes continues to grow as a celebration of community collaboration and environmental care. Organizers hope this year’s event will bring out record numbers in support of cleaner trails and stronger neighborhood connections.
