PARK CITY, Utah — In an effort to make biking around the region easier, Park City Municipal and Summit County have launched the Request-a-Rack Program to provide free bicycle racks and installation to businesses throughout Summit County.
The program offers all businesses in the county the opportunity to apply for a bicycle rack. Eligible racks will be installed on private property, ideally within 50 feet of a business’s front entrance.
Each rack will be an Inverted U-style design, powder-coated black for durability, and must be bolted into concrete. The number of racks available to each business will vary, depending on available space, and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Business owners interested in participating in the program can submit a request through an online form. For more information or questions, contact Anna Maki at anna.maki@parkcity.org.
