PARK CITY, Utah — For those who consider Park City their happy place, home away from home, or just plain home, getting there is now easy and elevated. Aero, the luxury semi-private jet service, is in Utah skies this summer with its Los Angeles-to-Salt Lake City route, offering travelers a stress-free way to touch down near Park City.
Aero operates in a sweet spot between commercial first class and full private jet travel, offering a high-end, low-hassle experience at a price point closer to first-class fares. With no membership or jet card required, guests can book flights directly via Aero.com and choose the destination and flight time they want. They can avoid the chaos of standard airport crowds, lines, and delays by taking off from private terminals.
Passengers can check in curbside at Aero’s private terminal at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles just 20 minutes before takeoff. Upon arrival, guests touch down at Signature Aviation, a fixed-base operator away from the busy commercial terminal of Salt Lake City International.
Originally built to seat 27, each jet has been reconfigured to accommodate just 16 guests in a spacious 1×1 layout—meaning every seat is both a window and an aisle. With no overhead bins, leveled floors, and thoughtfully curated interiors (suede walls, custom lighting, and a top-tier sound system), the cabin feels more like a luxury hotel suite than an airplane.
“Our mission is to elevate every aspect of flying,” said Liz Mazzei, Aero’s Head of Marketing. “From the booking process to the moment you touch down, we prioritize seamless service and exceptional hospitality.”
On board, guests enjoy Starlink Wi-Fi fast enough to Zoom, stream, or scroll, a full open bar, and gourmet meals from Erewhon—the L.A.-based wellness grocer. As summer ramps up, Aero is debuting its spring/summer menu: fresh salads, vibrant flavors, and light, travel-friendly bites delivered daily.
Pets are not just allowed—they’re welcomed. “I’ve seen everything from Great Danes to Chihuahuas fly with us,” said Mazzei. “They get treats, bowls, and attention from our crew just like any other guest.”
Aero has partnered with Park City’s Stein Collection to offer guests exclusive perks, including preferred rates on flights and lodging, daily resort credits, and a seamless arrival experience. Whether you’re heading up for a summer festival, escaping the heat for a long weekend, or settling into your second home for the season, Aero provides a sophisticated link between the Wasatch and the West Coast.
“Our Park City route is popular with second homeowners, vacationers, and even business travelers looking for a smoother way to reach Utah,” says Mazzei. “It’s ideal for anyone who values time, comfort and convenience.”
For those mapping out their summer itineraries, Park City delivers. From alpine hiking and biking to getting on the water, and outdoor concerts to spa weekends and golf getaways, the mountain town shifts effortlessly from winter sports hub to summer sanctuary.
While Aero is rapidly expanding—now flying to eight destinations, including Aspen, Sun Valley, Napa, Las Vegas, and newly announced New York City—it’s still very much an insider’s airline.
And as Park City continues to evolve into a year-round destination, Aero is poised to be its unofficial airline—where the journey is as elevated as the destination itself.
