SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Summit County residents now have a way to share opinions on local issues through FlashVote, a platform designed to collect community feedback via one-minute surveys. The county is launching the program in April to better inform decision-making with real-time, anonymous public input.
Residents can sign up at www.flashvote.com/summitcounty or by calling 775-235-2240 to participate by phone or text. Once registered, participants will receive surveys every few months on key county topics. Responses are anonymous, and users can choose to receive surveys by email, text or phone call.
Summit County notes that some residents may also receive text message invitations to join the service. The county encourages anyone who receives such a message from FlashVote to register and take part.
Each survey remains open for 48 hours, and participants receive a summary of results within that window. The final report includes how individual answers compare to the broader community’s responses.
The first survey is expected to launch soon. The county is urging residents to sign up early to be included.
“Sign up takes less than one minute and your input is always kept anonymous,” the county stated in its announcement. “Personal or demographic information collected by FlashVote is never shared with Summit County or anyone else.”
