Monday, April 14

Incident: Property Damage
A caller reported vandalism sometime on Friday night and reported a broken window in a studio on Swede Alley. The caller has a video, but the cameras don’t show the full picture.

Tuesday, April 15

Incident: Disturbing the Peace
A condo on Empire Avenue was disturbing the peace by having a loud party, playing loud music. The complainant stated it was coming from a blue and white building.

Incident: Civil Problem
Condominium owners on Park Avenue reported a table saw stolen from the bottom of their stairs. The complainants have a camera outside the property.

Wednesday, April 16

Incident: Vandalism/graffiti
On Sullivan Road, at the south end restrooms by the skate park minor vandalism and graffiti was found.

Thursday, April 17

Incident: Alcohol Offense/Warrant of Arrest
Deputies responded to the HomeGoods parking lot on the report of an individual drinking alcohol in a vehicle. The vehicle was located, and deputies made contact with the sole occupant. The individual was arrested for an outstanding warrant, open container, and driving on a revoked license. The individual was transported to the Summit County jail without incident.
Incident: Suspicious Activity
The supervisor of the Park City MARC reported that one of its members found a $1 bill on the ground, and when he picked it up a white powder substance fell out.

Friday, April 18

Incident: Auto Theft

Deputies were dispatched to an auto theft detail. The vehicle and the suspect were last seen leaving the Summit County Sheriff’s Office before dispatch received the initial report. Deputies located and stopped the vehicle on Old Highway 40, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Upon investigation, it was found that the suspect entered the registered owner’s residence without permission and stole the keys to the vehicle. The suspect was booked into the Summit County Jail.

A caller reported two moose near the library, one looks injured and they both look unhealthy.

Another call of an injured moose reportedly limping badly, left hand side of the road at the intersection of Bonanza and Deer Valley Drive.

Incident: Suspicious Activity
A woman received a threatening phone call saying they have video footage of her in the restroom.

Incident: Animal Problem MONARCH DR, PCC
A Monarch Drive neighbor has been leaving their dog out for many hours and has been “unbearably barking.” The dog has been out every day for many hours.

Incident: Suspicious
A ride share driver called police after dropping customers off at Chase Bank, reporting suspicious activity of those wearing a green sports jacket and the other.

While walking on Lucky John Drive, a caller saw a vehicle in a closed garage that was running with the windows down, thought it was “very strange.”

Saturday, April 19

Incident: Wildlife Problem
Two moose were reported again in the area around Fresh Market, with one being injured.
Incident: Disturbing the Peace
At Building A on Lowell Avenue, a caller complained of loud music and partying.
Incident: Intoxication 4th St & Swede Aly, PCC
At 4th Street and Swede Aly, Police checked on intoxicated female that said she was looking for her car.
Incident: Alcohol Offense/DUI
Deputies were dispatched to a previously reported intoxicated individual who was now driving his vehicle. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver was arrested and transported to the Summit County Jail.
Incident: Domestic Violence
Deputies responded to an active domestic violence call in Oakley. Deputies made contact with an intoxicated suspect and learned they had assaulted their spouse in the presence of children in the residence. The suspect was subsequently arrested for domestic violence related charges and booked into the Summit County Jail.
Sunday, April 20
Incident: Civil Problem W White Pine Canyon R
A verbal argument erupted between an Uber driver and passengers on White Pine Canyon Road. Both parties provided case number for complaint with Uber and ride reimbursement if needed.
Incident: Trespassing
Caller stated that there are 3-4 individuals (2 males and 1 female) on McHenry Avenue in a tan Mercedes van (caller could not see a license plate) that are trying to camp on the property.
Incident: Business Assist
The general manager of a business on Main Street stated he caught someone breaking in through an open door.
Monday, April 21
SAR was contacted to assist Uinta County (Wy) on a missing juvenile. K9 deputies and SAR responded but the juvenile was located prior to their arrival.
Incident: DUI
Deputies were flagged down by concerned citizens who reported that an intoxicated male had passed them and then entered a vehicle. Deputies observed the male individual sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in a parking lot at 1385 Lowell Avenue. Deputies contacted the male individual and observed multiple signs of impairment along with detecting the odor of alcohol emitting from the vehicle. The individual was arrested and transported to the Summit County Jail without incident.
Incident: DUI
Deputies responded to a single vehicle traffic accident on Highland Drive. Upon contact with the driver of the vehicle, signs of impairment were observed; an investigation for driving under the influence was conducted. The driver was arrested and booked into Summit County Jail without further incident.
