Thursday, April 3
Incident: Protective Order Violation
Deputies stopped a vehicle for a plate lamp violation. During the stop, they discovered that the driver was the respondent for a protective order and a passenger in the vehicle was the protected party. The driver was arrested and transported to the Summit County Jail without incident.
Incident: Fraud/Sex Offense
Deputies responded to a fraud incident involving a juvenile. The complainant reported that his juvenile son had sent explicit photos to an unknown person on TikTok. The person then requested money from the juvenile. Over $3,000 was sent to multiple Venmo accounts from the juvenile. This case is active, and the primary deputy is conducting follow-up.
Friday, April 4
Incident: Threatening
Deputies responded to a threat in progress in the parking lot of Walmart in Park City. The complainant reported that two males were threatening another individual with a knife. The suspects were reported to have left the area in a white passenger car before deputies arrived. Video recording was obtained from the complainant. The case officer will conduct further follow-up. This case is active.
Sunday, April 6
Incident: Agency Assist
Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive male at Woodward in Park City. Woodward Ski Patrollers had located the male on the top of the mountain and began CPR. Ski Patrollers then transported the patient to the base area and life saving measures were taken over by Park City Fire department. The patient was ultimately hot loaded into an air ambulance and transported to University of Utah hospital. The patient’s condition is unknown at this time.
Monday, April 7
Incident: Theft/Drugs
Deputies responded to the Outlets for a suspect that was seen stealing product from Ulta. Deputies contacted a male matching the description of the suspect. During the search of the suspects person and vehicle stolen product, drug and paraphernalia were located. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Summit County Jail without incident.
Incident: Drugs
Deputies located a vehicle behind the Big 5 Sporting Goods store well after closing. After a brief conversation with the registered owner, it was revealed that he had multiple active warrants for his arrest. Assisting Deputies spoke with an adult passenger in the vehicle and she informed them that there were narcotics in the vehicle. Both individuals were arrested and booked without further issue. Vehicle was towed hold for owner by PC Towing.
