PARK CITY, Utah—The Park City High School Mountain Bike Team’s annual Bike Swap will take place May 10–11. Residents will have a chance to score new gear, clear storage space, and support student-athlete programs.
The swap runs Saturday, May 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Utah Film Studios, 4001 Kearns Blvd., across from Quinn’s Junction. Twenty percent of every sale supports the high school team’s operations, scholarships, Hispanic outreach program, and trail advocacy work.
Selling and drop-off
Organizers accept adult and youth mountain and road bikes, trailers, racks, accessories and apparel. Sellers may begin check-in online at https://swap.twioweb.com, then tag and deliver items to the studio during drop-off hours:
-
Wednesday, May 7, 4–7 p.m.
-
Thursday, May 8, 4–7 p.m.
-
Friday, May 9, 4–8 p.m.
Each seller sets the asking price. Unsold goods must be picked up Sunday, May 11, between 3 and 5 p.m.; items left afterward will be donated. Payments for items sold are issued by email within 10 business days. Utah sales tax applies, and all sales are final.
Shopping
Shoppers can pay with major credit cards, cash or checks under $400. Organizers note the cash line typically moves fastest. The event averages about $100,000 in merchandise sales each year.
Volunteers
Help is needed for setup, sales assistance and breakdown; interested volunteers may sign up through the link on the check-in website.
