SALT LAKE CITY — The Ritual Mountain Bike Film Tour, showcasing the sport’s most compelling riders and breathtaking cinematography, begins its three-city Utah run Wednesday before wrapping up in Park City Friday.
Presented by Shimano and powered by Outside, the nationwide tour is part of an ambitious expansion that will bring mountain biking’s most celebrated films to 23 destinations across the country this year.
“Based on an outstanding inaugural year, we’re doubling down to bring these stories to more mountain biking fans across the country,” said Chris Keig, co-founder of RITUAL, in a press release.
The tour begins at Salt Lake City’s Jeanne Rose Wagner Hall on Wednesday, March 19, followed by Ogden’s Peery’s Egyptian Theater on Thursday, March 20, before concluding at Park City Brewing on Friday.
The two-hour shows feature dynamic content including short, stroke-worthy segments followed by an intermission, showcasing everything from 20-minute narrative films to three-minute action clips from both established filmmakers and emerging talent.
RITUAL sponsors will be providing what organizers describe as “$50,000 of the industry’s greatest giveaways” throughout the tour, brought by Shimano-MTB, Outside Magazine, Lazer Sport North America, Trailforks, and several other cycling industry leaders.
Each show begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. Advance tickets are $20 and can be purchased online through the Ritual website.
