Peace House Empowerment Fair to promote wellbeing, safety for neurodiverse community

PARK CITY, Utah–A collaborative event aimed at fostering well-being, safety and healthy relationships for the neurodiverse community is set to take place in March. The Empowerment Fair, hosted by Peace House, Maker Union, Bridge 21, and National Ability Center, will be held on March 13, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Maker Union, 1912 Sidewinder Drive.
The event, organized in recognition of Intellectual and Developmental Disability Awareness Month, will feature a panel discussion with experts from various fields. Confirmed panelists include a representative from the Park City Police Department, Megan Schmidt from Adult Protective Services, and Ally Acor and Julie Hannah from the Utah Parent Center. Additional panelists are expected to be announced.
Attendees will be able to engage with panelists, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into resources and strategies for promoting safety and empowerment within the neurodiverse community. The event will also provide food and refreshments for participants.
