MINERS 9 invites artists to apply for upcoming spring exhibits

PARK CITY, Utah — The MINERS 9 art exhibits is headed into its third year at the Miners Hospital Community Center, 1354 Park Ave., Park City. New artists are invited to apply starting March 1. The fee to participate is $150 for each three-day weekend. Artists must be present, engage with the public and agree to the terms of the exhibit.

For an application form, please contact Peg Bodell, Manager, or Sundyn Woolf, Assistant Manager, at miners9art@gmail. You will also need to submit three JPG images of your artwork. Upon acceptance, artists are not guaranteed a spot until the $150 fee has been received.

Metal grids for hanging/attaching art will be provided in each area. Several areas can accommodate art on shelves. Some small tables are available. They will be offered during the Thursday Walk Through Meeting. Artists can supplement display needs with pedestals or easels.

Artists are responsible for collecting all art sales and Utah SALES TAX. A tax packet with your Temporary Utah State Sales Tax number, tax calculation tables, and submittal process will be provided prior to the exhibit. Artists should prepare to accept multiple payment options: Venmo, Charge Cards, PayPal, cash, and checks.

• April 25 noon – 7 p.m., April 26 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and April 27 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• May 30 noon – 7 p.m., May 31 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and June 1 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• June 27 noon – 7 p.m., June 28 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and June 29 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• July 25 noon – 7 p.m., July 26 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and July 27 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Aug. 29 noon – 7 p.m., Aug. 30 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Aug. 31 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Sep. 26 noon – 7 p.m., Sep. 27 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sep. 28 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
