CREATE PC seeks local artists for winter, spring exhibit

PARK CITY, Utah — The Arts Council of Park City & Summit County is now accepting applications from Summit County visual artists to participate in the 2025 CREATE PC Local Artist Collective Winter/Spring Show. The show will run from February to June, with a reception set to take place at CREATE PC on Friday, Feb. 7, from 5 – 8 p.m.

CREATE PC provides gallery exhibition space to selected artists

This unique artist collective facilitated by the Arts Council provides opportunities for area creatives to connect with each other and the community. CREATE PC provides studio space for artists to work and gallery exhibition space to display and sell their unique pieces. Eligible applicants must be 2D or 3D fine artists living in Summit County.

Summit County fine artists can apply by Jan. 20

If interested in the CREATE PC Gallery opportunity, artists can fill out an application form by Jan. 20. Fine artists must have a personal and cohesive collection of artworks ready to display and sell. For this program, the Arts Council seeks fine artists showcasing artistic excellence within a body of work. This could include mastering skills and techniques, communicating unique vision or perspective, and professional approaches to process and presentation.

Artwork should not exceed 24” x 36” and the number of pieces per artist will depend on artwork sizes. Exceptions may be made – questions can be directed to emma@pcscarts.org. Selections will occur no later than Jan. 24. Selected artists are expected to drop off ready-to-install artwork Feb. 3 – Feb. 6.

CREATE PC fills a gap in the community and will continue through 2025

The Arts Council is the only nonprofit organization offering this type of programming, as a direct response to a gap in our community. The Arts Council has experimented with CREATE PC program models in various pop-up / temporary locations since 2019. Now, this increasingly popular program has a semi-permanent space in the community at 1500 Kearns (space F110) in Park City. The new space gives the Arts Council the opportunity to expand the program and its support of Summit County artists.

The CREATE PC Local Artist Collective will operate throughout the year hosting rotating exhibits, open studio nights and gallery stroll events. The Summer/Fall Show will run June to November and the Holiday Makers Market from November to January 2026. The CREATE PC gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday, 12 to 6 p.m.
