Summit County certifies 2024 election results, highlights tight races
Official canvass confirms final tallies with voter turnout at 89.1%
PARK CITY, Utah — Summit County officially certified its 2024 General Election results on Nov. 19 during a canvass held at the county courthouse in Coalville. With a voter turnout of 89.1%, the Nov. 5 election results are now final and available for the public on the Summit County Clerk’s website.
The canvass, a standard post-election procedure, ensures the accuracy and final approval of election outcomes.

- Total ballots cast: 26,482
- Registered voters: 29,718
- Turnout: 89.1%

- President: Kamala Harris (D) 56.47%, Donald Trump (R) 41.67%
- U.S. Senate: Caroline Gleich (D) 52.24%, John Curtis (R) 44.84%
- U.S. House 3: Glenn Wright (D) 50%, Mike Kennedy (R) 49.81%
- Summit County Council Seat C: Megan McKenna (D) 50.69%, Ari Ionnides (R) 49.31%
- Governor: Brian King (D) 44.86%, Spencer Cox (R) 43.94%
- Summit County Council Seat A: Roger Armstrong (D) 52.22%, Tory Welch (R) 47.78%
- Proposition 18: Emergency services funding passed with 72% support.
- North Summit School Bond: Failed with 56% voting against.
