Serious crash in Wasatch County leaves one in critical condition

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah – On November 5, the Utah Highway Department reported a red Jeep Liberty was traveling eastbound on Highway 40 near milepost 34, in Daniels Canyon. At the same time, a red Honda CRV was traveling westbound. It was snowing at the time and the roadway was snow-covered.
The driver of the Jeep left its lane of travel, crossed the undivided median, and struck the CRV in a head-on collision. A passenger in the CRV was transported in critical condition. Four other individuals were transported with minor injuries to an area hospital.
