Deer Valley unveils new ski trail map featuring East Village expansion
PARK CITY, Utah — On Thursday, Deer Valley unveiled its new ski trail map, featuring updated artwork and an enhanced aerial view to reflect the resort’s terrain expansion for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
The map coincides with the completion of the first phase of Deer Valley’s “Expanded Excellence” initiative. This multi-year development plan includes a new East Village, expanded skier terrain, a reimagined Snow Park base area, and upgrades to existing mountain facilities.
The resort says the new map “carefully reflects Deer Valley’s expanded terrain and elevated guest experience,” serving as both a visual guide and artistic tribute to the mountain landscape. Illustrator Rad Smith hand-painted the map using an aerial perspective to accurately depict Deer Valley’s terrain, lifts, and amenities.
The map highlights three new chairlifts—Keetley Express, Hoodoo Express, and Aurora—and the resort’s expanded beginner-friendly runs and terrain connections near the Sultan Express chairlift on Bald Mountain.
Deer Valley plans to continue expanding its skiable terrain in future seasons, and the map will evolve to reflect these enhancements.
