The app, available for download by searching “Summit County Sheriff UT” in app stores, is designed to keep users informed on division updates, news, and important notifications.

Users can customize their experience through the app’s notification settings, allowing them to toggle alerts on or off for traffic updates from the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), school news from School Resource Officers (SRO), and weather warnings from the National Weather Service (NWS). Additionally, the app provides location-based notifications, delivering timely information about incidents as they occur.

The new tool aims to streamline communication with the public, offering an efficient way to stay updated on vital issues in Summit County.
