Tour new Career and Technical Education wing at Park City High School’s ribbon-cutting

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City School District (PCSD) is excited to invite the community to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the first phase of the Park City High School (PCHS) construction plan, marking the completion of the new Career and Technical Education (CTE) wing. The event will take place Sept. 27 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at PCHS.

2021 School Bond projects take a step forward

This ribbon-cutting ceremony marks a vital achievement of the 2021 School Bond passed by the Park City community. The bond enabled the construction and renovation of critical spaces across the district, supporting the vision to provide exceptional learning environments for students. The new CTE wing is part of several transformative projects to enhance educational opportunities for future Park City students.

Tours demonstrate learning via real-world applications

PCHS welcomes students, families, community members, and media to join them in celebrating this exciting new chapter for PCHS. The ceremony will include a tour of the new CTE spaces and presentations by CTE students. Join them for an opportunity to learn more about how this project transforms learning through practical, real-world applications.

Lyndsay Huntsman, Director of Career and Technical Education, highlighted the importance of this new facility for students:

“The opening of the new CTE spaces unlocks endless opportunities for our students,” said Huntsman.

“Designed in collaboration with industry partners and future careers in mind, these spaces provide personalized learning experiences that can directly shape students’ career trajectories. As students step inside, we want them to feel as though they’re entering their future—where creativity, innovation, and forward-thinking are at the heart of learning. By preparing them for the ever-evolving world of work, we’re empowering the next generation of leaders and innovators who will shape the future.”
