Barnes & Noble to open new store in Park City at Kimball Junction on Nov. 13
The new bookstore will occupy 21,366 square feet in the former Bed Bath & Beyond space at Redstone Shopping Center, making it the third-largest commercial building in the area.
PARK CITY, Utah – Barnes & Noble is set to open its new Park City location in Kimball Junction on Wednesday, Nov. 13, after delays pushed the launch from summer to fall. Janine Flanigan, VP of store planning and design, confirmed that everything is on track for the grand opening.
The new bookstore will occupy 21,366 square feet in the former Bed Bath & Beyond space at Redstone Shopping Center, making it the third-largest commercial building in the area. It will be the first Barnes & Noble in the Wasatch Back, joining local independents Dolly’s Bookstore and Atticus Coffee & Teahouse in serving the Park City community.
The store plans to employ around 25 people, with full-time and barista positions still available. The B&N Café will offer Starbucks drinks, bakery treats, and free WiFi.
Barnes & Noble will host a ribbon-cutting event and other festivities to celebrate the grand opening.
