Summit and Wasatch County students can enroll in free six-week program focused on well-being
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Registration is now open for the fall Thrive sessions, a six-week mental health program designed to strengthen youth well-being in Summit and Wasatch counties. The program, developed by Webewell in collaboration with the Live Like Sam Foundation, aims to create positive habits among students in grades 6-12 through an evidence-based curriculum.
Students will meet with their cohort via Zoom once a week, and they must attend five out of six sessions to complete the program. Upon completion, participants will receive a $60 research stipend. This fall’s sessions will run from the week of Sept. 9 to Oct. 25, with no meetings during Oct. 6-13. The program is free for all eligible students, thanks to grants and donations to the Live Like Sam Foundation.
The Thrive initiative is part of a broader effort to address the growing mental health crisis among youth nationwide by promoting happiness, resilience, and overall well-being. Registration will remain open until midnight on Sept. 3, 2024.
