Park City Cocktail Contest canceled due to voting hack
PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Area Restaurant Association has announced that it will not be able to declare winners for this year’s Cocktail and Mocktail contest due to instances of voting system manipulation.
“We regret to inform you that we are unable to award a winner for the cocktail and mocktail contest due to confirmed instances of multiple participants hacking the voting system,” said Ginger Wicks of the Park City Area Restaurant Association. “This breach of integrity has compromised the fairness of the competition. We are greatly disappointed with this outcome.”
To address these issues, the association plans to implement enhanced security measures for future contests.
