SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah – Two fires sparked along I-80 Saturday, drawing in resources from across the area.
Crews were dispatched shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Saturday to a brush fire along westbound I-80 near mile marker 172. While en route, a second fire was reported at mile marker 169, according to the North Summit Fire Service District.
Additional resources were called in, with Utah Forestry Fire and State Lands, Park City Fire District, and Uinta County Fire and Ambulance were also on the scene. The cause of both fires is currently under investigation.
