Summit County Fair rides back into town Aug. 3-10

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — The annual Summit County Fair will return Aug. 3-10 with events throughout the Wasatch Back.

This event typically takes place the first week in August, and features all of the classic small town fair offerings such as a parade, carnival, live music, rodeo and livestock competitions.

Events will take place at the Summit County Fairgrounds, located at 202 East Park Road in Coalville, unless otherwise specified.

Thursday, Aug. 1

7 p.m. – Miss Summit County Scholarship Pageant, North Summit High School Auditorium

Saturday, Aug. 3

5 p.m. – Food booths open

5-10 p.m. – Beer, Wine & Spirits Garden open

7 p.m. – Demolition Derby, Large Arena (ticketed event)

Monday, Aug. 5

9 a.m. – 1 p.m. – 4H Exhibitions Entered, Ledges Event Center

Tuesday, Aug. 6

2-8 p.m. – Home Arts Exhibitions Entered, Ledges Event Center

2-8 p.m. – 4H Exhibitions Entered, Ledges Event Center

4 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Fine Arts Exhibitions Entered, Ledges Event Center

4 p.m. – Open Horse Show, Large Arena & Small Arena

4 p.m. – Limited food booths open

8-9:30 a.m. – Home Arts Baked Good Entered, Ledges Event Center

12:30 p.m. – Youth Pet Fest Registration, children 4-12 with small pets (leashed), Livestock Pavilion

1 p.m. – Rabbit Showmanship Clinic
