Free Sundance Film Festival Local Lens screenings kick off July 17
2024's Local Lens titles feature artists such as Aubrey Plaza, Brian Eno, Joan Chen, Maddie Ziegler, Meghann Fahy and Melissa Barrera
PARK CITY, Utah — Sundance Film Festival Local Lens screenings kick off on Wednesday, July 17 with free screenings throughout the Salt Lake Valley and Wasatch Back.
This year’s Local Lens lineup includes nine screenings of favorite films from the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, an event for local artists, film intros and Q&As from artists in attendance.
Park City
- “Daughters” – Thursday, July 18 at 7 p.m. at the Ray Theatre
- “Your Monster” – Friday, July 19 at 7 p.m. at the Ray Theatre
- “Eno” – Saturday, July 20 at 9 p.m. at City Park
Salt Lake City
- “Skywalkers: A Love Story” – Wednesday, July 17 at 9 p.m. at Red Butte Garden Ampitheatre
- “My Old Ass” – Thursday, July 18 at 9 p.m. at Red Butte Garden Ampitheatre
- Partner Screening: “Nine Days” – Friday, July 19 at 8 p.m. on the east side of Liberty Park, north of the Chase Home Museum
- “Layla” – Saturday, July 20 at 11 p.m. at Broadway Centre Cinemas
- Audience Choice Screening: “20 Feet From Stardom” – Sunday, July 21 at 9:15 p.m. at the Gallivan Center
West Valley
- Filmmaking Deep Dive: Honing Your Pitch with Industry Insights – Saturday, July 20 at 10 a.m. Megaplex Theatres at Valley Fair Mall
