HEBERY CITY, Utah — An 80-year-old man was transported via University of Utah AirMed on Friday after being bucked off of his horse.
According to a statement from Wasatch County Search and Rescue, the incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. at Crooked Creek, six miles east of Heber. Wasatch County SAR, Wasatch Fire and University of Utah AirMed responded to the scene.
Due to the remote location of the accident and the nature of the man’s injuries he was evacuated by helicopter. The rescue took approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
