Sneak peek: Grand Hyatt’s first Utah location in Deer Valley’s East Village
PARK CITY, Utah — The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is set to open this November, bringing a significant addition to the newly developed expansion of Deer Valley. This marks the first Grand Hyatt property in Utah, featuring 442 rooms, suites, and private residences.
The hotel will offer on-site ski lockers, a kids’ club, a game room, and a heated year-round pool. Fur parents also have a reason to celebrate, as the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is pet-friendly.
The hotel’s debut aligns with Deer Valley’s extensive expansion, which aims to more than double its skiable terrain to 3,700 acres. By the 2025 ski season, the project will introduce 16 new ski lifts and a 10-passenger gondola. Guests will have direct access to these new facilities, with shuttle services to the lifts.
Chef Marc Marrone will oversee the hotel’s dining options, which include a variety of venues such as a lobby market and coffee bar, a lobby bar and dining room, and an adult-only underground tavern called Three Little Birds. The focus will be on rustic American cuisine with a mountain flair.
In addition to its accommodations and dining, the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley offers 28,900 square feet of event space catering to corporate meetings and social events.
