Wasatch County to host Memorial Day drive-thru tribute May 27

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — Wasatch County will host its annual drive by tribute to honor veterans on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27.

The event will take place at Veteran’s Memorial Park, located at 415 S 600 W in Heber City, and will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As a part of this drive-thru event, the county is encouraging residents to make a yard sign or poster to display at the park in honor of veterans.

All are invited to participate in the drive by display, and residents can tune their radios to 98.3 FM to to listen to a tribute broadcast.

A ceremony to honor local veterans will take place at the park at 10 a.m. During this time the veterans will receive a gift and take a group photo.
