Summit County’s Green Business Program to host free water efficiency event
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Summit County’s Green Business Program has organized a free event on water efficiency. The Lunch and Learn will be held on Wednesday, May 15, at the Blair Education Center in Park City (900 Round Valley Drive).
Summit County’s Nathan Brooks will discuss the importance of water conservation and the role businesses can play in fighting water waste. Shital Poudyal from USU will deliver a presentation on the Qualified Water-Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) certification, which covers water conservation topics such as water sources, landscape irrigation, plant materials, soils, and more. Susan Cordone of Park City Municipal will discuss how businesses and households can identify water-saving opportunities and implement effective conservation measures.
There will be time to network and discuss with other attendees after the presentations. The event is free, and lunch will be provided.
