Kimball Art Center highlights teen artists at annual open house May 7

PARK CITY, Utah — This year’s Young Artists’ Academy Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m. at the Kimball Arts Center at 1251 Kearns Blvd. This event, free to the public, celebrates teenage creativity and expression, featuring the culmination of a year’s worth of artistic endeavors by local young artists.

The Kimball Art Center hosts this annual event to highlight the achievements of its students.

Throughout the evening, attendees will experience various activities, including art displays, interactive art-making sessions, and speeches and awards celebrating the students’ year-long journey in the arts. This event provides a platform for students to present their work in a professional setting.

The open house also marks the beginning of the application period for the 2024-25 Young Artists’ Academy program, which accepts only 20 new artists each year.
