Park City Transit announces seasonal route adjustments beginning March 31

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Transit has announced upcoming adjustments to its route schedule effective March 31.

The transit authority has detailed a series of changes including the removal of later evening hours:

4 Orange Route: This route will maintain its 30-minute frequency, with operational hours now beginning at 6:16 a.m. and concluding at 6:32 p.m., versus its winter schedule which ended at 11:32 p.m.

Discontinuation of Express Services: Both the 7 Grey Express and the 8 Brown Express will cease operations for the season. However, the parking facilities at Richardson Flat Park and Ride will remain accessible for commuters. Riders who utilized these express routes are advised to switch to the 6 Silver Express for transportation to the Old Town Transit Center, where they can transfer to alternate routes to reach their destinations.

9 Purple and 50 Teal Routes: The 9 Purple route will continue to run at a 30-minute interval, with its service window also adjusted to end at 6:35 p.m. rather than the previous 11:35 p.m. closure. The 50 Teal route, however, will maintain its current schedule, offering services from 6:31 a.m. to 11:23 p.m. at 30-minute frequencies.

Schedule Consistency for Other Routes: The 1 Red, 2 Green, 3 Blue, and 5 Yellow routes will all adopt consistent 30-minute frequencies throughout the day. Their operational hours will remain largely unchanged.

The 10 White Schedule will transition from Park City Transit to a High Valley Transit route starting April 28.

Commuters and visitors are encouraged to review the new schedules and plan their travels accordingly.
